Orienteering is a sport that exercises your mind as well as your body. The challenge is to read a detailed topographic map and figure out the best way to get yourself from point A to point B and then to point C… and so on, while you climb hills, cross streams, choose trails and take compass bearings. For some folks this is done at a full-on run… for others it is a leisurely walk. But either way, it can be a challenge that you will never master completely and an activity that you can continue for a lifetime.

So consider joining us in the outdoors of Northeast Ohio. We host events that can be enjoyed on foot, on bike, in a canoe or kayak, that take place in the woods, as well as on city streets. At each event there are navigation course levels from absolute beginner to advanced. And courses can be enjoyed by individuals, families and groups as their choosing.

So consider this an invite and a welcome to orienteering.
